Love Required

The Loveless Church

Revelations 2

"To the angel of the church of Ephesus write,
‘These things says He who holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands: “I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars; and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name’s sake and have not become weary. Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent. But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.”’

Job 35 (TLB)

2-3 “Do you think it is right for you to claim, ‘I haven’t sinned, but I’m no better off before God than if I had’?

“I will answer you and all your friends too. Look up there into the sky, high above you. If you sin, does that shake the heavens and knock God from his throne? Even if you sin again and again, what effect will it have upon him? Or if you are good, is this some great gift to Him? Your sins may hurt another man, or your good deeds may profit him. 9-10 The oppressed may shriek beneath their wrongs and groan beneath the power of the rich; yet none of them cry to God, asking, ‘Where is God my Maker who gives songs in the night 11 and makes us a little wiser than the animals and birds?’

12 “But when anyone does cry out this question to Him, He never replies by instant punishment of the tyrants. 13 But it is false to say He doesn’t hear those cries; 14-15 and it is even more false to say that He doesn’t see what is going on. He does bring about justice at last if you will only wait. But do you cry out against Him because He does not instantly respond in anger? 16 Job, you have spoken like a fool.”

Psalms 39

I said, “I will guard my ways,
Lest I sin with my tongue;
I will restrain my mouth with a muzzle,
While the wicked are before me.”
I was mute with silence,
I held my peace even from good;
And my sorrow was stirred up.
My heart was hot within me;
While I was musing, the fire burned.
Then I spoke with my tongue:
Lord, make me to know my end,
And what is the measure of my days,
That I may know how frail I am.
Indeed, You have made my days as handbreadths,
And my age is as nothing before You;
Certainly every man at his best state is but vapor.Selah
Surely every man walks about like a shadow;
Surely they busy themselves in vain;
He heaps up riches,
And does not know who will gather them.
“And now, Lord, what do I wait for?
My hope is in You.
Deliver me from all my transgressions;
Do not make me the reproach of the foolish.
I was mute, I did not open my mouth,
Because it was You who did it.
10 Remove Your plague from me;
I am consumed by the blow of Your hand.
11 When with rebukes You correct man for iniquity,
You make his beauty melt away like a moth;
Surely every man is vapor. Selah
12 “Hear my prayer, O Lord,
And give ear to my cry;
Do not be silent at my tears;
For I am a stranger with You,
A sojourner, as all my fathers were.
13 Remove Your gaze from me, that I may regain strength,
Before I go away and am no more.”

Deathbed Salvation

Deathbed Salvation

Luke 23:32-50

32 And there were also two other, malefactors, led with him to be put to death.

33 And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.

34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

35 And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God.

36 And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar,

37 And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself.

38 And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, This Is The King Of The Jews.

39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.

40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?

41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.

42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.

43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.

The Word of God is pure. Every single word written has purpose, meaning, and power. I often ask, "Why did God use a criminal being punished for his crimes as an example."  Well, it certainly proves salvation is the gift of God, not by works, lest anyone should boast! (Ephesians 2:8-9) But let's truly understand this deceitful deathbed salvation that many have been deceived into believing. Everyone talks of the criminal who got into heaven but the one that did not make it into heaven is just as important as the other!  Remember, I just said every single word in God's word has a purpose. The criminal who did not receive Jesus, but railed or complained about Jesus, represent the people who believe they can live as they please, never acknowledge Jesus as Savior and Lord, have no desire to learn of God or repent but simply tell God what to do or complain about what He's not doing, yet still get in heaven! What a wicked spirit to tell Jesus who IS God, "If you are who you say you are save yourself and us!" And this is how the masses act and talk all day against salvation. God finished His work in six days. God does not need the bible. He created the bible for us to have and learn His ways and what He requires that we may live forever in paradise with Him.

Now let's look at the criminal who Jesus acknowledged. Jesus tells us if you stand up for me I'll stand up for you before my Father in heaven, but if you deny me, I'll deny you before My Father in heaven!" (Matthew 10:32-33) So once the unbelieving one mocked Jesus, the believing one rebuked him and said "Don't you fear God?" This criminal was caught and being punished but obviously he knew who Jesus was unlike the other criminal. He confessed he deserved to be punished for his wrong deeds and then he called Jesus, Lord, and then he said, "When You come into Your kingdom remember me!" Now a person who does not serve The Lord knows nothing about Him or His Kingdom, let alone rebuke another person, who he is sharing the same punishment for his crimes with! Most people are too cowardly and would say, "Who is he to judge him? They are being killed for the same thing!" Lol! This story was not written to say: Sin till your dying day then repent or make your peace with God or "the man upstairs" and you'll be okay. Now doesn't that just sound ignorant when you read that last statement? But here's another very important component to this story. The believing criminal DID NOT REPENT THERE! All through Jesus' ministry before He healed, etc., He FIRST forgave their sins! This criminal was already forgiven, his belief was accounted to him as righteousness! (Genesis 15:6) he had already repented and began to follow Christ! Only a follower of Christ can see Him for who He is EVEN IF THEY ARE BEING KILLED! This man is being killed and still knew God was God! Jesus was beaten the worst and in the same predicament as this guy yet he asked God to remember Him when He comes into His kingdom! Lol! Wow! Now be true to yourself, if you were in agonizing pain, being killed, then hung next to a guy they had beaten till he was unrecognizable as a man, moaning in pain just as you, would you acknowledge Him as the son of God? Only if you already knew and believed Him!

This story was not for you to think you can be saved just before you die. It was written to show the love of God. Despite this criminal's wrongdoing he confessed he had done wrong and lived his life believing Jesus was the Son of God and despite his circumstance he was elated to be next to Jesus and ask Him to please remember His servant! This is about God's love and the follower of Christ's true love toward God! Circumstances do not cause us not to obey and love God. There is NO deathbed salvation. You MUST know God before that day or you will be like the second criminal, the guy telling God if He is God, save me!

I Saw Jesus

I was in some deserted area socializing with a group of wealthy people. I wandered off to this nearby dilapidated area. There was an attractive man there I conversed with him very very briefly but I cannot recall what he said. He left and I returned to the crowd. Yet once I got in the midst of the crowd I learned we were there looking for artifacts of Jesus. They had a picture of Him and I realized it was Jesus I had encountered just a few moments ago!! Because Jesus has not physically walked the earth in thousands of years I knew it was not wise to tell them I just saw and spoke with Christ. Plus these people's motives for seeking Jesus were all wrong! They wanted Him in order to increase their status or celebrity not to serve Him as God and Savior. I cannot remember how the dream ended which is not important what is important is I wish I could remember what He said to me!

I felt compelled to share this dream. This is a dream I had October 29, 2013 that I have been pondering, but today it seemed very necessary to share. Today so many artists, moguls, and celebrities want to share their "religious" beliefs. The use of the name Jesus in mainstream is on the ultimate come up! Everybody wants to say Jesus. Everyone is promoting "just believe in something" like that's enough, then throwing Jesus and God in their statements to catch the listeners' ear. Just like my dream, this growing promotion of religion and Jesus has nothing to do with God or Christ, but strictly to manipulate the masses. They want the masses to be deceived into not submitting to Jesus, and to be at peace in serving anyone or anything and you will still get to "a heaven".  I am sure there are some that are truly seeking Jesus for salvation's sake and I am confident they will find Him. But most are strictly attempting to increase their celebrity status! Be aware! Be alert! Do not be deceived! Your enemy the devil, who is their father, (John 8:44) is very cunning. The very elect of God will be deceived if possible! (Matthew 24:24) Saying Jesus does not automatically get you admitted into heaven. There are pastors, leaders, those who have done miracles in "Jesus' name" who God will cast into hell and say He never knew them! (Matthew 7:22-23) God is real and His word is true. All those adding their own theology will lead you to hell. (Revelations 22:18-20) Just believing in "something" is not God's way!

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." (John 14:6)

Wonderful You

Keep me from lying to myself;
    give me the privilege of knowing your instructions. Psalms 119:29 (NLT)

It is time to be true to one's self. In this era of scripted reality television and social media, where you can be whomever you desire to pretend to be, It comes a time when you must stop lying to yourself and simply be you. My role in life have me counsel many people and I dare say ninety-nine percent of them lie and pretend for months, even years before they just confess or admit what really is the truth of the matter. I often say "be free" and others ask me "what does that really mean?" Or "what are you really saying?" When my response to you is simply "Be Free" it simply means what it says! I am not being "deep" or speaking in mysteries. I want you to set yourself free from the lies and deception you tell yourself. Be free from lying just to impress others, who by the way, will never be impressed!! Be free from imitating others than Jesus Christ, hoping to obtain some glory or even their glory. Do not be sucked into this system where you are simply an airbrushed image of yourself, acting how you think people want you to act in public, while lying to yourself. Read the bible and find out what God thinks of you. The wonderful things He says about you! He sees you as you are and He says, "My dove, my perfect one, Is the only one,..." (Song of Solomon 6:9)
Or He says, "...He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.” (Zephaniah 3:17) "For thus saith the Lord of hosts; ...for he that touches you touches the apple of his eye!" (Zechariah 2:8)

I don't need to pretend how great I am! I do not feel the need to impress others! Why? Because I KNOW I am great!! God already told me! I am royalty, a King's daughter! God knows all about me and He said He would STILL choose me!! (Song of Solomon 6:8-9) I am wonderfully made! (Psalms 139:14) Learn what God thinks of you and you will never lie about or to yourself again! The true you is so awesome that others will look at you and marvel!! God's word says, "You are a WONDER to many!" (Psalms 71:7) Be Free to be You! You are an awesome sight to behold! God Bless You!

For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. (Psalms 139:13-14)

Seeds

Luke 8:4 And when a great multitude had gathered, and they had come to Him from every city, He spoke by a parable: “A sower went out to sow his seed. And as he sowed, some fell by the wayside; and it was trampled down, and the birds of the air devoured it. Some fell on rock; and as soon as it sprang up, it withered away because it lacked moisture.And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up with it and choked it. But others fell on good ground, sprang up, and yielded a crop a hundredfold.” When He had said these things He cried“He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”

The Purpose of Parables

Then His disciples asked Him, saying, “What does this parable mean?”
10 And He said, To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest it is given in parables, that
‘Seeing they may not see,And hearing they may not understand.’

The Parable of the Sower Explained

11 “Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.12 Those by the wayside are the ones who hear; then the devil comes and takes away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. 13 But the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who believe for a while and in time of temptation fall away. 14 Now the ones that fell among thorns are those who, when they have heard, go out and are choked with cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity. 15 But the ones that fell on the good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience.

The Parable of the Revealed Light

16 “No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a vessel or puts it under a bed, but sets it on a lampstand, that those who enter may see the light. 17 For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light. 18 Therefore take heed how you hear. For whoever has, to him more will be given; and whoever does not have, even what he seems to have will be taken from him.”

What seed are you?
